Care Instructions
Garment Care
You’ve invested in a piece designed to last. Our garments are crafted with quality materials and printing techniques to achieve a specific vintage feel and lasting durability. To help you keep your gear looking and feeling its best for years to come, we’ve put together this guide.
Proper care is the easiest way to ensure the longevity of both the fabric and the graphic.
Caring for Your Graphic T-Shirts
Our graphic tees are the core of our collection. The goal is to protect the integrity of the screen print and the softness of the cotton. High heat is the primary enemy of a graphic tee.
Washing
-
Turn Inside Out: Before you wash, always turn your t-shirt inside out. This is the single most important step to protect the graphic from the abrasion and friction of the wash cycle.
-
Wash Cold: Machine wash on a cold cycle (
30°C
/90°F
or lower). Hot water can cause the fabric to shrink and can damage the ink in the graphic, leading to cracking or fading. -
Use Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, and fabric softeners. These can break down the ink on the graphic and damage the cotton fibers.
-
Wash with Similar Colors: Separate your darks, lights, and colors to prevent bleeding.
Drying
-
Hang Dry (Recommended): The absolute best way to dry your tee is to hang it up or lay it flat to air dry. This prevents any risk of shrinkage or heat damage to the graphic.
-
Tumble Dry Low (If Necessary): If you must use a machine, tumble dry on the lowest heat or a "no heat" setting. Remove the shirt while it is still slightly damp to avoid over-drying. Never use high heat.
Ironing
-
Never Iron Directly on the Graphic: The heat from an iron will melt and destroy the print.
-
Turn the Garment Inside Out: If you need to iron the shirt, turn it inside out and use a low heat setting. Avoid the graphic area as much as possible.
-
Use a Barrier: For best results, place a cloth or a piece of parchment paper over the graphic area on the inside of the shirt before ironing.
General Apparel Guidelines
For all our products, the golden rule is to check the specific care label attached to the garment. However, here are some general tips:
-
Hoodies & Sweatshirts: Follow the same instructions as for graphic tees. Wash inside out and hang dry to prevent pilling (the formation of small fuzz balls).
-
Headwear (Caps & Beanies): We recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge in water or put in a washing machine, as this can deform the shape.
-
Denim Care: High-quality denim is designed to be worn in and washed infrequently to develop a unique, personal fade.
-
Wash Less: To preserve the color and fit, wash your denim as little as possible. Spot clean minor stains with a damp cloth.
-
Washing: When you do wash, turn your jeans inside out and wash them alone or with other dark denim. Use a gentle, cold cycle with a small amount of mild detergent.
-
Drying: Never put denim in a machine dryer. High heat will cause significant shrinkage and can ruin the fabric. Always hang dry, preferably away from direct sunlight.
-
-
Leather Goods (Jackets & Accessories): Leather is a natural material and requires special attention. For major stains or deep cleaning, we always recommend a professional leather cleaner.
-
Routine Maintenance: Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust. Apply a quality leather conditioner periodically to keep the material soft and prevent cracking. Always test conditioners on a small, hidden area first.
-
Dealing with Spills: If your leather gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hairdryer or place it near a heater, as this will make it brittle. For liquid spills, blot gently with a soft cloth immediately.
-
Storage: Store leather jackets on a wide, padded hanger to support the shoulder shape. Keep in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
-
